How does a Meal Box Plan work?

1. Choose your plan that suits your dietary requirements, from 1 of our 5 options: Full RangeCalorie Conscious, Keto or Protein Plus.

2. Now for the fun part, choose your meals from up to 35 delicious menu options. You can pick single selections to try a range of our gourmet, chef prepared meals, or if you'd like more than 1 of any meal (we all have favourites), simply change the quantity next to that menu option.

3. Choose the frequency you want our delicious meals delivered (weekly or fortnightly.)

3. Select how many meals per week you'd like to recieve, from 6, 8, 10, 14 or 18. When deciding, think about how many people you are ordering for and how many meals you'd like to cover.

5. Add your created Meal Box to your cart, checkout, pay and then leave the rest to us. We will carefully prepare, cook and send your personalised Meal Box via courier the next available work day. (Our couriers do not do pickups on the weekends sorry.)

6. Your delivery will arrive chilled and ready to put your meals in the freezer and heat, eat and enjoy when it suits you!

Payments are processed before each delivery is dispatched. Remember that you can always make changes to your upcoming order each week or skip a week if needed.

Where do I find the ingredients of your meals?

Please check our Full Range Menu collection or click on any product inside each specific menu. Each meal has a description, ingredients list, nutritional and allergens info.

How is Meal Box delivered?

Our Meal Box Plans are delivered in a reusable cardboard box, packed with biodegradable Woolcool to keep the contents chilled (and plenty of care!). If you're interested in our recycling efforts, you can read more on our blog. We work closely with New Zealand Post and offer a premium nationwide delivery to individual addresses, or in bulk to one address.

What happens if I'm not home when my Meal Box delivery arrives?

All orders will be left in a safe cool place between the hours of 10am and 5pm. If you have any special delivery instructions please let us know in the notes section at checkout.

What is the best way to prepare my Meal Box meals for eating?

You’ll find cooking and reheating instructions on the packaging of all our meals. All of our meals are already cooked and simply require being reheated – either from frozen or once defrosted – and this can be done either in the microwave or oven. Depending on the strength of your microwave, it may take between 2–5 minutes to reheat a meal.

Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.

How is my Meal Box made and what ingredients do you use?

Every Meal Box is made in a commercial kitchen with highest food standards and only using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. You will find a list of every meals specific ingredients on their product page on our website and each individual meal box.

How long will my Meal Box stay fresh?

Keep your meals in the freezer and can be stored to the best before date on the packaging. Once thawed meals will need to be eaten within 4 days.

How much is shipping?

We deliver NZ Nationwide, including rural addresses. We do not ship internationally sorry. We offer 2 flat shipping rates of:

  • North Island: $14.99 per delivery
  • South Island: $29.99 per delivery

You are welcome to order more meals at once to save on shipping costs.

What payment options do you offer?

Our Shopify payment options are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Union Pay, Shop Pay, Apple Pay & Google Pay.

Cancellation Policy
Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order or try before you buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.

 
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment, a partial deposit at checkout, or full payment. We will store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date. 
You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.

 
Try before you buy
When you purchase a try before you buy item, we authorize your payment method before fulfilling the order. You will have a certain amount of time to decide if you want to keep the item. Once the time period has passed, if you have not returned the item, we will charge your payment method for the full amount.
